Brief Description The course is aimed at maintenance personnel with little or no knowledge of Honeywell IPC 620 PLC’s. Students will be taught how to fault find the IPC using the LOADER software package. The course will also provide the student with the ability to upload and download programs as well as make basic modifications to the PLC code. On completion of the course the student should: - Be able to fault find basic IPC 620 hardware.
- Understand and be able to interpret Ladder Logic programs.
- Be able to view and add documentation / comments to a ladder logic program using the loader software.
- Have a basic understanding of the Loader software package and be able to utilise it to perform certain tasks.
- Be able to make minor software modifications including altering timer presets and adding contacts.
